Spare has been selling and promoting Fuji Film Prescale Film since 1998.
Initially, we sourced the product by importing it directly from Japan. In 2008, we began collaborating with Fuji Film GmbH,
the new European headquarters of Fuji Film, and in 2009, we were appointed as authorized distributors for the national territory.
Over the years, we have been involved in numerous applications, including novel ones, where Prescale Film has proven to be a valuable
tool for qualitative investigation and verification.
Therefore, we believe we own significant experience that we are more than happy to offer to our Clients.
We can be involved in the preliminary feasibility study of your application, for which we can proceed to validate its compatibility with Prescale Film and,
if necessary, with the assistance of Fuji Film technologists.
Below is a brief description of the various phases of study and definition of a test involving the use of Prescale Film, and the
corresponding contribution that Spare can offer for each of them. Please contact us for any further clarifications.
Fuji Film Products: services and support actions
Preliminary evaluation of the application Spare can assist you in the study and evaluation of the surface pressures implied by your application,
determining the likely expected contact pressure values through calculations, and also evaluating the compatibility of the application with Prescale Film.
Empirical assessments of the application
Where simple calculations do not allow for the accurate determination of the surface pressures involved, Spare can provide free samples of
Prescale (with different measurement ranges) to empirically verify the magnitude of the pressures developed during the experiment.
Impressed Prescale Film pre-evaluation
By using simple photographs taken, for example, with a mobile device (to be sent via email to Spare), it is possible to begin evaluating the results
to understand which of the imprinted films best represents the reproduced contact pressure experience.
Validation of the application, if necessary with the support of Fuji Film
Based on the information collected, it will be possible to validate the application considered, even if it needs to be repeated
for qualitative checks: for more challenging circumstances, as an authorized distributor, Spare may also involve Fuji Film technologists.
Evaluation of obtained results
Once the most suitable measurement range for the test has been determined, you will be able to independently interpret
the results using the colorimetric chart provided with the film. Spare remains available for any assistance in interpreting the results.
Further investigations
As further explained on other pages of this site, more in-depth, detailed, and repeatable analyses can be carried out using
the FPD-8010E tool, which can be provided by Spare. Spare remains available for any additional investigations that may be necessary.
Specific application situations
We have faced numerous application situations and believe we can be of assistance in specific cases as well,
such as those involving heating elements, where special films or thermal shields may be required. Please contact us.
Thermoscale and UVscale
Of course, we are also able to assist our clients with the use of the Thermoscale heat-sensitive films and UVscale light-sensitive
films, and, if necessary, we can also call upon Fuji Film experts and technologists.
